10th Caulfield Scout Group (based in Elsternwick) is on the lookout for new leaders for their Cub Scout section (children aged 8 to 11)

Work with the Australian Kookaburra Kids (AKKF) Foundation team to actively engage with supporting young people during day activities in Rockingham. AKKF core Programs include face to face activities such as Activity days, Camps, and non-face to face 'Connect' online chat sessions. Students welcome. Age range 21yrs - 65yrs.

The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth". The volunteer's roles will include monitoring the book swap boxes, creating some resources and assisting at story time events.

Scouts provides young Aussies with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. The Scout Movement encourages the development of young people so they take a constructive place in communities by through gaining life skills, self-confidence and independence. Kennedy Region Scouts have opportunities on the team who provide support to the program activities. Girl Guides are looking for adult women of any age, experience, or background to join us for a bunch of FUN! Girl Guides activity/program volunteers organise and run activities for groups of girls of various ages, and provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for girls to develop their teamwork and leadership skills. Training and mentoring is provided, and you will be part of a welcoming team. Girl Guides is a fabulous way to make new friends and looks great on your resume.

Would you like to be involved in: Learning Assistance Program (LAP) - Mentoring, to support students in all areas of learning & well-being to promote self-esteem. Administration Support: front office - filing, photocopying, stocktaking, archiving etc. Library support - filing books, assisting students to find books etc. Canteen to support - in providing lunch & recess Cooking helpers to assist in cooking programs Reading support Sight words Farm & Garden Grounds - keeping outside tidy

The High School has a breakfast club running on a Friday and Monday mornings to assist students with a healthy start to the day. Helpers are needed for anytime between about 6.30am and 9 for as long as you are able to give.
