About this opportunity

The Bayswater Youth Advisory Council is an opportunity for young people aged between 12-25 years, who live, work, study in the City of Bayswater, to have a voice, inform the City about issues that are important to them and assist to plan youth initiatives, programs and events.

This is a great opportunity to be the voice for young people in your community, gain experience and skills planning youth programs, coordinate youth events, as well as develop leadership skills and meet new people.

The Youth Advisory Council meets once a month at an agreed time, for approximately 1.5 hours. Meetings include food and a bit of fun!

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Others . Working with Children Check *.

YAC members who are 18 years and older must complete a National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check, both are paid for by the City.

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.
Time Required

Monthly meetings (approx. 2 hours) and attendance at YAC events.
