About this opportunity

Koya is seeking volunteers to assist our facilitators for the Djookian Club which is a girls club for First Nations girls running every Friday and Saturday night from 4-8pm. Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up decorations, preparing food (mainly preparing snack boards, most nights will be catered), supervising children, supervising during bus drop-offs and pick-ups (with Koya’s drivers), taking photos and cleaning up at the end. Volunteers will be required to adhere to the values and guidelines of the Djookian Club and help with creating a safe, judgement and discrimination free space where everyone, including the children are treated with respect.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
