Activities Assistant - Working with Kids.
About this opportunity
Key responsibilities will include: Actively engage with young people during the activities, communicate and support young people whilst on program, building a trusting relationship. Have fun and get involved in the activities, assisting the young people as needed. Support and follow the directions of the Program Coordinator and Program Assistants in delivering Program activities. Maintain confidentiality of young person's details, and maintain confidentiality of your own details, adhering to AKKF boundaries.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
No qualifications necessary.
Ability to engage and build trust with a diverse group of young people. Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a positive rapport with young people.
Resilience and a positive attitude.
Team Player.
To be advised by the organisation. Volunteers can choose which activities they would like to participate in.
