The Jarrahdale Heritage Society are seeking a dynamic team member or the role of Publicity Coordinator. This position can be conducted almost entirely in a virtual or home-based capacity.

This position is instrumental in ensuring successful adoption outcomes by creating engaging and well-coordinated events that showcase adoptable dogs and attract potential adopters.

Your help will allow us to find appropriate permanent homes for these cats. We have cats right now coming up for going into foster care. Located in a beautifully restored two storey house alongside Maley's Mill, the Greenough Museum offers an insight into a bygone era. The homestead was built between 1862 and 1880 for John Maley (King of the Greenough Flats), miller, storekeeper, hotel proprietor, entrepreneur and father of 14 children. The museum examines the social life of the Front Greenough Flats from Aboriginal time until today. View the historic trees and wander the community vege garden. Open daily 8.30am to 3.00pm

Farm Animal Rescue are seeking habitat cleaning volunteers to care for some of the sanctuary’s most fragile rescued animals.

Farm Animal Rescue is inviting applications for Open Day Volunteer.

Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.

Opportunities exist for volunteers in multiple roles: heritage guides, customer service, visitor information assistants, and village “stollers” in heritage costume.
