St Brendans provides 2 course hot lunch and shower facilities to the homeless every Friday at the Guide Hall, Watts Road Safety Bay from 11am-2pm. Volunteers can help set-up and prepare meals from 9.30am-11.30am or serve and pack-up from 11.30am-1.30pm.

Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.

The Darling Range Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Communications work at the control centre of a fire or search manning the radios, tracking firies, mapping fire shapes, and providing specialised support to the Incident Management Team (IMT).

The Rockingham Kwinana SES Unit is made up of four sections; Rescue, Logistics, Communications and Operations, with each team contributing to the overall function of the Unit. Operations is the information processing area for SES. Much of our work is computer based. Our main role is to record all the details of emergencies into a database and track teams who are out on jobs.

The Hedland Homeless Breakfast Program is an essential service operating Monday to Friday 7.00am-9.30am at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre in South Hedland. New Homeless Breakfast Program volunteers are always most welcome! Volunteers of any age accepted (even under 16yrs).
