About this opportunity
The Hedland Homeless Breakfast Program operates Monday to Friday 7.00am-9.30am at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre in South Hedland. New Homeless Breakfast Program volunteers are always most welcome! Volunteers of any age accepted (even under 16yrs). Volunteers must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
This is an essential service for our community. Volunteers that have not recently travelled overseas, and are fit and well are welcome to apply. Bloodwood Tree will ensure appropriate COVID19 precautions for all volunteers and clients.
Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday between 7.00am-9.30am. Please submit an expression of interest to arrange an induction and paperwork so that we can help get you started and a part of our volunteer team! No experience required. Role will involve assisting our full time Cook to provide meals to clients and cleaning and washing dishes afterwards. The Hedland Homeless Breakfast Program assists with providing a hearty meal to vulnerable and in need clients.
