Event & Volunteer Coordinator (Front of house)

About this opportunity

We need someone mature and experienced as this person will need to guide all participants to check in on our system upon arrival or assist them to register on the spot if they haven't yet, so they can check in before the program starts or before they start any tasks as a volunteer. Then once done, give them a stick-on nametag to show they've gone through the check in process.

With only a couple of staff in the kitchen, it gets very busy and we often don't have enough people to make sure the participants are checked in. If the participants are not checked in, we don't know who or how many people came in and the # of meals they completed. This number helps us to plan and prepare for future supply of meals to the needy.

Time Required

We need someone who can come in at least 2-3x a week, any day from Sundays to Fridays (no Saturdays). Times are: 8:45am - 12pm or 11:45am to 3pm.
