To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre Equine programs by participating in tasks as directed by the Coach. Equine program assistants have a primary role to support RDA Coaches for sessions.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with horse preparation, leading of horses in program sessions, assistance with life skills/groundwork sessions and assisting in the pack up and return of horses to the paddock.

Seeking volunteers interested in looking after one of our very special puppies to assist a blind person to live their life to the full. Being a Puppy Carer means you get to experience the joy of looking after an adorable puppy for 12 to 15 months – without any of the associated costs – and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you are assisting someone who is blind to live the life they choose.
Side walking - No experience necessary. Walking beside horse, supporting clients with disabilities as they ride, making sure they stay safely seated on the horse in accordance with RDAA policies. Leading horses - Volunteers with horse management experience to groom and generally prepare horses for our riding sessions with disabled clients, then to safely lead horses in accordance with RDAA safety policies.
