Volunteering with Valley RDA is a very rewarding experience assisting riders with varied abilities to reach their goals as a rider whilst improving their physical mental and emotional well being. We are looking for friendly people who smile a lot & enjoy chatting to our visitors, who are of a neat and tidy appearance and who are self motivated with a good work ethic and an eye for detail. You must be able to work as part of our team, but also to work without supervision and use initiative when required.

To lead horses during lessons for riders with disabilities. (No experience needed). Time Required - 8.30am-12.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

If you love animals this may just be the role for you! Foster Carers are needed to take care of a dog or cat in their own home until such time as the animal can be re-homed to its forever home. Carers are asked to give lots of TLC and to handle the animal in order to prepare them for their new home.

Native animals are often in need of a helping hand following accidents with cars, pets, windows, people and other native animals. ACT Wildlife has trained wildlife carers to care for these animals but with increasing habitat loss and suburban expansion our job is ever increasing.
