Feed Roster Volunteers - Riding For The Disabled - O'Halloran Hill and Woodcroft
About this opportunity
Riding for the Disabled SA provides horse riding & related activities for people with a disability aged between three and ninety years at 9 centres throughout SA.
We are currently looking for further volunteers to assist with horse feeding and poo picking at our O'Halloran Hill Centre and Jennibrook Farm at Woodcroft
This includes activities such as:
- Feeding horses
- Making feeds for next shift
- Picking up poo!
Training and all equipment provided. Some experience with horses preferred.
No minimum commitment even if you can volunteer a few hours a week on a regular basis we would love to hear from you!

Volunteers are required to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening clearance and Working With Children clearance. RDA centres can assist with completing this online and cover the associated cost.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
Monday to Sunday a few regular hours per week.
