The Orygen Assist program provides essential items including non-perishable foods, clothing, and hygiene products to young people & their families. This position supports our volunteer-run service by completing deliveries of online clinician orders.

Orygen Assist volunteers provide front-facing assistance to young people and their families at our Parkville drop-in, as well as administrative support for the operational running of the service.

The role of Op Shop Assistant exists to help sell a wide range of new and pre-loved items. This involves serving members of the public, assisting with stock rotation, sorting and pricing items, merchandising and keeping the Op Shop in a tidy and presentable state.

Containers for Change is the 10c refund recycling scheme that has been introduced to Western Australia. The Bridging the Gap – Port Kennedy depot receives eligible recyclables for the Rockingham region, keeping them out of landfill.

Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.

We are a volunteer based, not for profit organisation providing a free 24/7 community service committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula. 100% of money raised through our op shops goes to rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife. Free accredited training in 'Lead Snorkel Activities' is available for volunteers who wish to gain more experience and become a Lead Snorkel Guide. Snorkels take place at various locations along the Adelaide coast as well as regional areas in SA.

Containers for Change is the 10c refund recycling scheme that has been introduced to Western Australia. The Care for Hedland depot receives eligible recyclables for the Hedland region, keeping them out of landfill. In this role you will be sorting and counting eligible drink containers and providing refunds to customers. The depot received both small and large returns of containers so extra hands to help sort, count and serve the community are always welcome.
