Horse Assistant
About this opportunity
No horse skills are required, however volunteers should be comfortable around horses and willing to learn. All volunteers regardless of horse experience are buddied up with an experienced volunteer. Our purpose is to empower people living with diverse abilities to develop new skills, discover new abilities and define the life they want to live. Get involved in something special. Transforming the lives of people with diverse abilities, one hoof-beat at a time. Hours are limited to school hours only, and the program does not run during the school holidays.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Good Mobility - Uneven grounds, safety around animals.
(However if working only in clubhouse that's not an issue.)
Youth/School Volunteers (14-18) - Guardian Must Attend.
Tues, Wed Riding Friday Carriage between 8.30am - 2.00pm
