Retail assistant for paint rescue charity

Environment & Conservation Regular - less than 6 months St Peters NSW

About this opportunity

About Us Circle Paints opened its doors in February 2023. We now have thousands of litres of interior and exterior paints in stock, and we're building a loyal following in the mural painting and No Waste networks of Sydney.

What this role involves We are currently only open to the public for part of the day on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We'd like to be open for more days of the week for at least two hours so we attract more customers.

Some people like to see the colour of paint in real life before they buy, so they visit our shop before they purchase through our online store. Some customers also ask for advice about which type of paint they should buy. We also have passersby dropping in to ask what our shop is all about.

There is no cash handling involved. Customers are asked to buy the tin or tub from our website and pay online before they carry it out the door.

Our depot is pretty quiet, so you'll have time for reading. We have a comfortable space to work on your computer, and a kettle/toaster/microwave so you can make yourself drinks and snacks. We're not busy yet, so the job should be pretty relaxed.

Who would this role suit? This role would suit anyone who:
