RSPCA Victoria has updated/upgraded some of our gardens at Burwood and with these upgrades comes ongoing maintenance. The Garden Maintenance Volunteer will perform garden maintenance on an ongoing schedule as guided by the Facilities Team.

The native plant seed orchard aims to grow seed for revegetation on the farm site and to share knowledge and skills to be able to increase involvement of community members and make revegetation more accessible to community from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. in summer volunteers will collect and manage grassland seeds, in winter volunteers will be part of revegetation projects, in autumn volunteers will support the building and set-up of the native seed orchard.

At You Matter, we create welcoming styled homes using good quality second hand furniture and homewares donated by the community. We use these donated items to provide the gift of a fully functioning home for victims of domestic violence. We require volunteers to work in a team to sort through and clean donated items once or twice a month.
