The Emergency Relief (ER) Volunteer assists clients who are experiencing financial hardship through the provision of food parcels, food voucher, petrol voucher and PBS (chemist) prescriptions. The ER Volunteer is required to meet with clients through scheduled appointments, which are held weekly from Monday – Thursday. Administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and tidying up of ER room may also be undertaken by the ER volunteer when not meeting with clients.

Volunteer drivers pick up donated food and deliver it to Baptist Care SA’s Food Hub and help us provide low cost and free food to people with a Concession Card, Immigration Card, Health Care Card, or student card. If your heart matches ours, we’d love to hear from you.
