We are now looking for Youth Mentor volunteers to be part of the PCYC Drive to the Future Program. PCYC exists so that young people at risk across WA have a safe place to go somewhere they can feel at home, make friends and do things that young people should do. With a vision & purpose of changing young people's lives, we are all about empowering young people to reach their full potential and for our centres to be thriving and welcoming hubs within their respective communities.

A driver training & mentoring program that equips young people who are overcoming adversity, to obtain their drivers licence. We require volunteer Driving Supervisor/s to mentor our students to achieve their 120 hours driving for their log book. ***This opportunity comes to you via Volunteering Central Coast, the volunteering resource centre for the Central Coast***

The volunteer will assist with the early literacy program Paint Bunbury REaD which encourages everyone to "talk, read, sing, rhyme, yarn, draw and play with children every day from birth". The volunteer's roles will include monitoring the book swap boxes, creating some resources and assisting at story time events.

Volunteers are required for transporting of Young People and Children in care. Transporting will include from Inner North DCP office to other Family contact locations, eg schools and libraries. Transporting of the children is with use of government vehicles.

We are looking for driving mentors for young novice drivers aged 16 to 25 who have barriers to completing their 50 'log book' hours to obtain their driver's license. A caring and non-judgmental approach and an ability to build a positive rapport whilst promoting safe road use are vital. A car is provided

Volunteer Audio Engineers needed. Volunteer audio engineers are able to utilize the studio space and are asked to work collaboratively with young local artists and beginner audio engineers to record and mix track/s. Audio Engineers are supported by Frankston’s FReeZA workers and Youth Services team to mentor young people participating in the studio program.
