Audio Engineer Volunteer

About this opportunity

Frankston Youth Services (FReeZA Program) are seeking volunteer Audio Engineers to utilize our recording studio space at Ebdale Street Community Hub. Volunteer audio engineers are able to utilize the studio space and are asked to work collaboratively with young local artists and beginner audio engineers to record and mix track/s. Some of these tracks are featured on Fresh Entertainment’s annual compilation album. Audio Engineers are supported by Frankston’s FReeZA workers and Youth Services team to mentor young people participating in the studio program.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Heavy Lifting . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

• Aged 18 & over
• Knowledge in use of DAWs Ableton and Protools
• Recording studio know-how
• Willingness to work in a supportive environment with young people
• Willing to teach and learn
• Willing to undertake Police Check
• Valid Working With Children Check

Time Required

No minimum or maximum per week. Studio accessible 9am to 9pm Monday to Sunday.
