The Department for Child Protection Volunteer Driver would transport children and young people to and from family contact, appointments and may also assist with learner driver training. Some out of hours, long distance and overnight travel may be required.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a space designed to be a welcoming break from the ward environment for sick children and their families whilst staying in the Children's Ward. In this role you will have the chance to make a beautiful difference in a family's day. Our Family Room simply cannot operate without our amazing volunteer team.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.

We have a large suite of programs to offer the public. We are expanding into the City of Knox from Break 40 Cafe at 40/1880 Ferntree Gully Rd. We need local volunteers to assist us to recruit participants to our programs and to help cement these programs as regular fixtures for the local community. These are all groups with a therapeutic angle (eg men's & women's support groups, artistic expression opportunity groups like open mic nights, kids breakfast club or after-school safe spaces.

People Outdoors, a branch of the Australian Camps Association, was established in 1989 to provide outdoor recreation for people of all ages with physical or intellectual disabilities. The Australian Camps Association is a registered NDIS service provider certified with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and accredited with the Quality Tourism Framework. Camp programs include overnight through to week long residential camps and provide people with disabilities the opportunity to
