We need enthusiastic individuals committed to delivering outstanding customer service, organising merchandise, and handling tasks such as stock unpacking, pricing, and preparing items for sale. When volunteering with us, you are able to get involved with all the behind the scenes processes, involved in running the Save the Children Op Shops and be involed with the community through engaging with the customers. We have a wonderful team of like minded people. Then become a mentor, who spends an hour a week being a positive role model, listening and doing activities with a student for 1 hour each week during school hours during the school year. EdConnect Australia are seeking volunteers with general life skills to help young people in secondary schools who are at risk of disengaging in education.

Are you resourceful, a good communicator and passionate about reducing social isolation in the community? The Parents Hub supports parents caring for infants and toddlers who have additional needs. The volunteer will support the group facilitators with the weekly hosting of parent gatherings. This group aims to engage isolated families and encourage network building! Wednesdays from 9.30am-10.30am. We do ask that volunteers can commit to the role for 6 months or longer.

Do you live, work or play in the municipality of Knox and have an understanding and interest in the issues impacting families and young children?

Volunteer Home Visiting aims to empower families and enhance their social inclusion through building their confidence and connection to their community with the support and companionship of a volunteer. Families are based across the Gold Coast and matching is based on volunteers' location and family/carers interests, availability and experience and the goals identified by the family. A Volunteer is matched to provide support one visit per week for 2 hours, over a minimum 6-month period.

Attending court can be challenging and distressing, especially if it is your first time. CRC’s trained volunteers provide information on court processes, where to seek advice, and emotional support to people attending local courts across NSW. Legal advice is not provided in this role.
