The BRIGHT Walk 2024 takes place on Saturday 6 July from 4pm–9pm. 2500 people will walk through the CBD and North Adelaide, raising money for medical research at SAHMRI through sponsorships from friends and family.

The role of an Agestrong Volunteer is to assist the exercise leader to run a safe and supportive exercise program, create a welcoming atmosphere by being a friendly face and helping clients feel more supported in the group environment.

We are looking to superstar volunteers to help us with all things MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride, in particular photographing the event. This event supports almost 5,500 Queenslanders living with MS and other neurological conditions, and we cannot pull off events like this without our amazing volunteers.

Assist with the operation of the Book Trolley at our Centre. This role involves processing donated books and magazines, including screening suitable books and magazines for content. You will organise and maintain the Volunteer Library, organise and transport the book trolley, offer books and magazines to consumers, their carers, and families in our Centre and provide general support and/or conversation to involve them in positive connections.

If you enjoy engaging with primary school children and have a knack for storytelling, we would love to have you as part of our Museum Schools Team. We are looking for someone to assist with the organisation and cataloguing of this new collection. We are also looking for assistance with the establishment of research library loan partnerships and processes within our broader library network and research librarian services on an ad-hoc basis.
