About this opportunity

Key duties

  • categorise and catalogue books into our research library
  • type details of book into library catalogue
  • help answer questions about the library collection (e.g. helping a researcher search for a particular topic/book).
  • support the development of a loan sharing system with other libraries
  • help increase the accessibility of the library

Skills/experience

  • familiarity with using a computer
  • experience working in a library or administrative environment
  • attention to detail is a must

Time Required

We'd love to hear from you if you can provide a day or more as a one-off, or few hours of assistance per fortnight. Commitment is flexible around your needs. A minimum commitment of 6 months is preferred; however, we are also accepting volunteers who can volunteer on a one-off basis (e.g. to help with the initial cataloguing of part of a larger collection).
