Are you a technology guru? Want to pass on your skills to the next generation? Beechboro Library is seeking mentors to become our new Coderdojo champions. This role would be perfect for volunteers who have coding knowledge and would like to improve their abilities and coding skills.

  • Supporting delivery of the Library’s Coder Dojo program by supporting Library Staff in setting up the space and packing it away.
  • Support staff by helping to answer participants technology queries and guiding them through the tutorials while the staff member is presenting the workshop.
  • Providing technology support to program attendees.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Others . Working with Children Check *.

•Computer literacy
•Experience with coding in Scratch or other coding languages
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
• Reliability and commitment to regular attendance.
• Good communication skills.
• Work well independently or in a team.
•Enthusiasm for working for young people

Time Required

3:00-pm-5:30pm Tuesday afternoons weekly during School Term.
