The Volunteers Hub at Diamond Valley Community Support is advertising this volunteer role on behalf of Lower Plenty Dance Group, a small not-for-profit volunteer organization running live and online weekly dance for people with intellectual disabilities. The Committee meets every second month on the 3rd Thursday for approx 2 hours to manage the dance group affairs.

As a start-up not-for profit peak body, PRECI is currently run entirely by volunteers. We require a volunteer with skills in grant writing, who can support the Directors to apply for grants to support the vision of PRECI! Abbeyfield Garran is a not for profit which provides affordable, inclusive, homelike and safe accommodation for people with a mild cognitive disability where residents can maintain their independence with dignity and choice. The Garran house is run by a volunteer management committee and employs a housekeeper to provide meals and support the residents on a day- to-day basis. We have 10 young adult residents.
