TransitCare is an innovative not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assisting our clients to remain active in the community and live independently in their own homes.
TransitCare require a savvy Admin extraordinaire to help support our Community Flyer program. If you have a great phone manner, love being part of a team and have basic computer skills then you are the volunteer we are looking for.
The Community Flyer can be booked by older members of our community and people with a disability for shopping and banking, social outings and visits, medical and health-related appointments and set destinations outside of local areas.
The role includes answering phone calls and arranging drivers to do pick ups within the community. Some scanning and filing will also be needed.
So if you're a a team player, have a great phone manner and enjoy talking to people then we'd like to talk to you.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
*TransitCare would also require a combined disability worker screening and blue card, along with a federal police check (TransitCare will pay for this).*

7.30am-12.30pm and 12.00-midday - 5.00pm Ideally, a minimum of two shifts per week per person.
