JDRF's prestigious Blue Tie Ball is taking place on Saturday 15 June, 2024 from 6.00pm - 12:00am at The Westin Perth. We are on the lookout for volunteers to help on the night and experience one of the best fundraising events in Perth. By lending a hand you will not only get to see how running an event works from behind the scenes, but you’ll be making a valuable contribution to raising funds for life-changing type 1 diabetes research.

The Inala Multicultural Festival is a FREE one-day-only event, available to families in our local community and surrounding areas. It combines multicultural performances, rides, great food and diverse stalls. We need your help on Saturday 11 May in Brisbane to make a difference for Ukrainians displaced by war. Walk My Way Ukraine is a charity walking event in Brisbane, starting and finishing at QUT Gardens Point Campus. We need help with setup, registration and marshalling along the walking course. Setup starts from 10am, registrations open at 11:30am and the walk will operate from 1pm-5pm. A few hours of your time will make a big difference for Ukrainian children and families displaced by war.

The Darling Range Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Communications work at the control centre of a fire or search manning the radios, tracking firies, mapping fire shapes, and providing specialised support to the Incident Management Team (IMT).

The Rockingham Kwinana SES Unit is made up of four sections; Rescue, Logistics, Communications and Operations, with each team contributing to the overall function of the Unit. Operations is the information processing area for SES. Much of our work is computer based. Our main role is to record all the details of emergencies into a database and track teams who are out on jobs.

Volunteers required to support the operational activities as directed by the OSU Group Duty Officer. This is a support role and can be undertaken by firefighting and non-firefighting personnel.
