The volunteer will work autonomously and ideally have experience working in a commercial kitchen. Play a vital role in the maintenance of the ASWC's Food Pantry service. The primary task is to ensure that the ASWC foodbank is replenished weekly, via driving trips to Foodbank and Secondbite, in order to provide for vulnerable people in the community.

Play an essential role in the management and maintenance of the Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre Food Relief Program. Support the consumers and staff of the Centre by: picking up and organising food and material donations; assisting consumers to choose food and material items from the ASWC food bank, contacting clients to confirm food relief appointments.
