Events Assistant

Migrant Services Regular - more than 6 months Mandurah WA

About this opportunity

This position will enable you to gain valuable experience by taking part in a wide range of planning activities including the organisation and set up of festivals, parties, workshops, information sessions, meetings, and lunches and dinners. You will also learn how to carry out risk assessments, working with children checks and evaluations, and how to apply for any necessary permits.

You would be advised to join Peel Multicultural Association ($15 per year) to benefit from a free Working with Children check and, subject to funding, First Aid training may be available.

Reliable. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions. Reasonable level of fitness.
