All you need is to be kind, empathetic and willing to give one hour per fortnight (or more if you'd prefer). Our Gatekeepers to the Universe welcome our visitors to the historical Perth Observatory nestled in state forest in Bickley. These Administration volunteers get to do a variety of tasks from showing visitors around the museum and shop, to handing office tasks. The museum is only open 2 mornings a week. We need more people so that we can open other times. Front of house involves greeting visitors, recording visitor numbers, recording any sales and ensuring museum is clean & tidy. Training will be available so that you can help with answering visitor questions re local history.
