Shop Assistant - SteamRanger Heritage Railway
About this opportunity
Duties will include merchandise display, helping visitors in the shop with queries, sales, cash handling, maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and ensuring goods are displayed appropriately. Well developed communication skills are required.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Volunteers will need to be well presented and enjoy interacting with visitors.
Reliability and punctuality is essential.
Previous experience in a retail environment would be an asset
Previous sales and customer service experience would be considered advantageous but not essential. On the job training will be provided. We require a proof of at least one Vax date and the proof of when they have their second shot booked.
9.00 to 4.30 pm We operate every Sunday & Wednesday and (Saturdays during daylight savings) and each day of the school holidays and Public Holidays on a rostered basis.
