Our steam tug Waratah built 1902 at Cockatoo Island badly needs help to maintain paintwork by removing and treating rust, then re-painting. Sydney Heritage Fleet is voluntary group dedicated to preserving, restoring and operating vessels representing our Maritime history. The services are required of a person to co-ordinate maintenance of the building exterior and interior and its immediate grounds. This will involve performance of some basic maintenance and gardening, as well as organising tradespeople and Council staff to carry out other maintenance activities.
