Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.

Can you help to heat up meals, serve meals or do dishes? Chat with guests and share a meal with them. Our guests are isolated or financially disadvantaged people who need some extra support with meals and being with community.

Victor Harbor Sea Scouts is a family focused Scout group with programs full of fun, friendship, new skills and adventure. Scouts take part in a variety of outdoor activities, from traditional scouting skills such as camping, bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hikes, canoeing, rock climbing, and even flying.
