A Museum Asst. would Meet and Greet visitors, guide them through the society's rooms, be able to maintain the library & the museum and open the cottage timely. On the job training will be provided.

Join the 'Friends of Currimundi Lake' volunteer group and help the local Rangers control invasive weeds in this small remnant of wallum heath on the Sunshine Coast. Tasks typically include manual weed removal and with the occasional opportunity to assist with revegetation, rubbish collection and minor maintenance of the Heath circuit walking track.

Join the 'Friends of Parks - Glass House Mountains' volunteer group and help the local Rangers with a variety of activities that will benefit many and much-loved sections of the Glass House Mountains National Park. Tasks may include: manual weed removal, revegetation, rubbish collection, minor track maintenance, recording of wildlife sightings, and more.

It is a varied position where no two days will be the same, providing a rewarding and welcoming learning experience to the Museum through guided visits to the public. This role requires a well presented individual, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Full training and an introduction will be provided to the Museum exhibits. The Museum is open Monday to Saturday, with two guides or hosts working together. Volunteers must be vaccinated.
