Gallery Handyperson

About this opportunity

Work closely with the Curator as you assist with following instructions for the accurate placement and handling of artworks. You will help oversee that artwork is handled carefully at all times and presented beautifully in our gallery. Tasks also include following the instructions of the art gallery curators to ensure artwork are handled and presented in a safe manner. You will also ensure that the artwork are handled and presented to their best advantage. Some lifting is required.

Note: a $15 membership fee applies for the successful applicant


Additional requirements

Heavy Lifting . Working with Children Check *.

Must be a people person and culturally aware.
An understanding of tools and equipment advantageous
Working at heights, some heavy lifting, and long periods on your feet
Our volunteer should be interested in art

Time Required

Six (6) hour shifts
