The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

We require volunteers to conduct tours to guide individuals through this heritage house and provide information on the contents and history to visitors to make it an informative and enjoyable experience.

The Rockingham Museum is a community museum which is managed by the Rockingham District Historical Society Inc. The Customer Service role has two components - Ticket Sales and Souvenir Sales. Live on-site at the Women's Museum of Australia within the secure walls of the heritage-listed Old Alice Springs Gaol! You must have own caravan, (max 2.9m in height) with own shower and toilet. In exchange, we ask for 6 hours on a Saturday and 6 hours on a Sunday and a few hours per week of general light maintenance duties and roster cover when needed with two days per week off, usually Tuesday and Wednesday.

Volunteers are needed to help out at the Historic Albany Goal (not the real one!). Training will be provided. so that you will be able to provided. Also locking and unlocking the goal. Currently looking for people to do a shift on the weekend; Saturday & or Sunday alternating shifts 10-1 or 1-4pm. Sunday 10-1. Front of House Volunteers provide a warm and friendly welcome for visitors to the Museum and also play a valuable role in maintaining Museum security during opening hours. They engage with visitors and share knowledge and enthusiasm for the Museum and Esperance history. This is a key role ensuring that the Museum is open on the publicised day.
