Ticket Sales - SteamRanger Heritage Railway

Do you have a passion for customer service and genuinely enjoy assisting people with their inquiries? Goolwa and Victor Harbor Railway Station are on the search for Ticket Sales Volunteers to help out at their award winning historic railway stations. The role includes calculating fares, selecting and reconciling tickets for each visit of the historic SteamRanger train. Duties also include responding to queries, and offering information to visitors, in a friendly and helpful manner, along with following opening and closing procedures and ensuring that the office is always clean and well presented.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Volunteers will need to be well presented and enjoy interacting with visitors.
Communication skills to Interact with other volunteers, customers and passengers.
Reliability and punctuality is essential.
Previous sales, cash handling and customer service experience would be considered advantageous but not essential. On the job training will be provided.
We require a proof of at least one Vax date and the proof of when they have their second shot booked.
9.00 to 4.30 pm We operate every Sunday & Wednesday and (Saturdays during daylight savings) and each day of the school holidays and Public Holidays on a rostered basis.
