Provide support to parents and carers entering the operating suites at the Queensland Children’s Hospital. Volunteers help ease the anxiety of a child’s surgical journey by working closely with medical staff to provide information and emotional support to parents and carers.

This role involves an early start and finish (6:00AM to 9:00AM only), once a week or fortnight, gathering and reading news items on radio, as part of a small team of volunteers.
