We need YOU! We are in need of some bloody brilliant volunteers for our flagship fundraising event The Bloody Long Walk national series: a 35km walk in Sydney North (from Palm Beach to Manly Corso) on Sunday 4 August 2024.

Assist visitors and outpatients get to their destination within the hospital, both by giving directions or walking with them. Lots of people contact and a great opportunity to help people.

Drive visitor buggy within Westmead Hospital and provide our visitors with valuable assistance to get around the Hospital.

As a volunteer you and your volunteer colleagues will learn about the NSW Mental Health Act, in particular the role of the Mental Health Review Tribunal. To facilitate an understanding of this information for the relatives, carers and families attending a Hearing, our service supports a volunteer family support program. Specifically designed for the weekly Hearings, family provide positive feedback about the support provided.

Very special volunteers are required to visit patients and their families in a home environment and provide companionship to the patient and respite for the carer.

Do you have a talent in arts and craft and would like to help patients in palliative care?

Qualified Therapists/teachers needed to provide Carer Wellness to parents/carers of children in Hospital.

Do you have excellent communication and/or customer service skills and able to trouble shoot as needed? We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about helping our families, who attend The Bandaged Bear Outpatients at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, to have a positive and seamless patient journey in relation to their outpatient appointment.

Tour de Cure is holding its annual Snow Ball, we are expecting over 1000 guests at the International Convention Centre Sydney, on Saturday 22nd June 2024. Over the last 10 year's Tour de Cure’s Gala Events have raised over $20m to fund the boldest research, the most talented scientists and their ground-breaking projects that we believe will have the biggest impact on cancer. We can only do this with the help from our volunteers.
