You will be working together with the driver to deliver nutritious meals to people who can't cook for themselves. Meals on Wheels deliver meals to older people and people with disabilities living in the Parramatta LGA on week day mornings. Drivers are responsible for driving to our Hunter Street office then to customers homes with a helper. Volunteers will need to have a full licence and own comprehensively insured car. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.
