The park is an island of native vegetation in a picturesque setting, framed by the Myponga Reservoir and pine plantations. Working bees are held on the first Friday of each month commencing at 9.00 am.

General handy-person jobs include small painting jobs, hanging pictures, changing light globes, fixing equipment, freshening up rooms for new residents and more. Pottering in the large gardens and courtyards. All volunteers must have the annual Influenza vaccinations, triple Covid-19 vaccinations and a Police clearance to work vulnerable persons.

We are looking for volunteers who can share their skills and time supporting elders (in our Eldercare Aged Care residential facility) who wish to reconnect and use their creative skills, and have a keen interest in painting with residents as a weekly activity.
