General Helper - Riding for the Disabled

Disability Services Regular - more than 6 months Victor Harbor SA

About this opportunity

Volunteers are integral to the RDA program and, while new volunteers offering experience is helpful, it is not essential as training will be provided.

Volunteers with RDA SA commit to as little or as much time as they have available. And there are jobs for everyone.

Roles include horse leaders and sidewalkers (walking beside the horse to assist the rider if necessary), coaches, poo-pickers, handy-persons to help with grounds maintenance, fundraisers, office workers, and volunteer coordinator.

RDA SA accepts volunteers between the ages of 13 and 90. We love that our volunteers bring a wide range of experiences and talents.

If you are interested in joining our dedicated team of volunteers we would love to hear from you!

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

It is necessary to have your NDIS Worker Screening.

Every volunteer with RDA aged 14 or older who is involved in client programs, or has access to client records, is required to hold, or be willing to apply for a DHS clearance.
