Scribblers Festival is run by a small, passionate team and we always appreciate a helping hand. The Scribblers team needs you to help spread the magic of storytelling. We’re on the lookout for Volunteers for the 2024 Scribblers offerings. It’s a great opportunity to gain work experience on a major event, connect with fellow creatives, and perhaps even meet some authors or artists!

We are looking for a someone strong in graphic design, proficient with Canva and Adobe Suite. We are needing assistance with the development of promotional materials. A bonus if you can produce short videos of still photos for our socials too.

Red Nose Day is our headline fundraising campaign each year, raising funds to support the work of Red Nose in saving little lives and caring for bereaved families, and raising awareness for the cause. Merchandise stall holders collect cash and facilitate EFTPOS donations, and sell small merchandise. Support Red Nose funding vital programs and bereavement care services.

We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. SchoolKits for Congo seeks Practicing Teachers to engage their own classes in rewarding student-scaled global giving, and to give feedback on our program and communications as they develop. The project serves mothers and school children in Congo who would otherwise be living in absolute poverty.

SchoolKits for Congo seek Student Advocates to invite their own school communities to engage in meaningful and rewarding global giving. Advocates will present the program to decision-makers, show them the positive impact that involvement can have on both givers and receivers, and connect them with the resources necessary to complete the first gift cycle. Advocates may also assist with local publicity for the event. Advocates may be current school students or recent graduates.
