About this opportunity

  • Liaise with Fundraising team and pick-up-point contacts to ensure equipment and supplies are available for all volunteers
  • Assist in securing local pick-up-and/or storage points for supplies
  • Assist in building roster of volunteers for the day
  • Brief volunteers and support their operations and welfare during their shift
  • Sensitively diffuse any issues that might arise on the day and escalate issue to Red Nose staff as needed
  • Ensure equipment and surplus supplies are dispatched to the nominated return point
  • Safe and timely banking of funds collected

Time Required

Up to 3 hours preparation before Red Nose Day. Fundraising Captains are required from 6:30am to 7pm on Red Nose Day (Friday 9 August) – a full shift would also include a 2-hour break in the middle of the day. If you can only support one shift, the commitment would be either: [Morning shift] 6:30am – 11:00am [Afternoon shift] 2:30pm – 7:00pm Up to 3 hours follow up
