The Japanese Film Festival (JFF) returns to Melbourne on 21 October – 3 November, and is seeking a passionate candidate to join the team as a Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work behind-the-scenes for the JFF and gain valuable professional experience. The Coordinator will be responsible for researching contacts for local promotions, recruiting and managing volunteers, and assisting staff during the film festival Opening Night. Hotham Mission seeks in person volunteers in North Melbourne to support our young women's program, a weekly gathering for young women aged around 16-25. This program aims to develop leadership skills and embrace community while trying out fun activities. Our program is participant-led, free and operates both online and face-to-face.

Do you enjoy meeting new people? We are seeking a volunteer one day a week (with preference for Wednesdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm) to be the first point of contact for our front reception, by meeting and greeting visitors into our Kooyong centre at Vision Australia. Seeking volunteers to assist with the Hotham Mission free community Homework Club in North Melbourne, every Monday and Fridays (during the school term) from 3pm - 5:30pm. Working with Primary School students - must have Working with Childrens Check and consent to Police Check. Seeking volunteers mostly for the Friday session from 3pm - 5:30pm.
