Toy Library - Saturday Open Session Support

About this opportunity

Are you looking for a simple way to give back to the community? We are a small community toy library, helping local families and children have fun and learn through play with quality toys at an affordable membership rate. We rely on volunteers to help with our open sessions, and particularly need extra assistance during our popular open sessions on:

Saturday 10am - 12.30pm

This is easy, fun and in a face-to-face role, helping members check in their toy returns.

We're looking for someone who is

  • A good listener and a team player
  • Has a friendly and social attitude
  • Ability to speak basic English
  • Ability to happily speak with our members about the toys
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

You will be working with the small team that keeps the toy library running - a much-loved part of the community for over 30 years!

Covid-19 vaccination . Working with Children Check *.

* May be arranged via the Organisation. Details to be provided on expression of interest.
Time Required

2.5 or 2 hours on Saturday 10am - 12.30pm If weekly isn't an option, then fortnightly or monthly is also fine. Ideally we would like someone ongoing for this role, but if you can only commit for a few months, that's great!
