We're hoping you can be the gentle supporting hand to assist our residents to become more involved in day-to-day life at the home. We love nothing more than hearing the beautiful Macedonian language from our volunteers & our residents.

We are on the search for Creative Mentors to participate in our 2024 Program! You will have the opportunity to work with young individuals (aged 9 - 13) and assist them in building more confidence and self esteem, achieve goals and be a positive role model. Not to mention help them create an awesome artistic piece to be exhibited at the completion of the program!

We are looking for female volunteer who can speak Italian to spend some quality time with an elderly lady who lives in Avondale Heights. Your visit may be spent reminiscing about the good old days and family, celebrating Italian festivities while sitting around having a cuppa or enjoying a leisurely activity like going for a short walk, do a puzzle, read Italian stories etc.
