Day Centre Support Volunteer - Aged Care
About this opportunity
A Day Centre providing social activities and and contact for older people who have intellectual, physical and psychiatric disabilities requires volunteers to offer companionship to the clients and assist with various activities.
The volunteer will provide support to the lifestyle team at Southaven. The volunteer will be supervised/supported by the Program Manager and/or Volunteer Coordinator while interacting with consumers and with care staff.
All volunteering will be carried out within standard WH&S guideline and working instructions. Appropriate training will be provided.
Sessions are held Monday to Friday from 10am to 2.30pm.
Police Checks organised. Volunteers 15 years and older may apply.
Additional requirements
