Inclusion Melbourne is a community-based not for profit organisation that is committed to ensuring people with a disability live in an inclusive community, are supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have the opportunity to participate in community life. Inclusion Melbourne's award-winning Leisure Buddy program matches volunteers with adults with a disability so they can develop a genuine friendship and participate in social activities.

You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.

The Boroondara Family Network supports families living in the City of Boroondara with children under the age of six. The volunteer visits the parents home to provide parenting support for the families. The volunteer provides practical help (holding/playing with the baby), friendly support and encouragement in a non judgemental manner. The volunteers are available to engage in adult conversation and be a listening ear. They may assist families to access other community services where appropriate
