Want to make a person smile today – Become a Leisure Buddy Volunteer

Disability Services Regular - more than 6 months Malvern East VIC

About this opportunity

Inclusion Melbourne’s Leisure Buddy program matches like-minded people to undertake social activities within our community on a fortnightly basis.

We are focused on creating genuine, long term connections between volunteers and our Leisure Buddy participants.

Therefore, we require a minimum commitment of 12 months and two to three hours per fortnight.

Shelley is in her mid-thirties and is looking for a Leisure Buddy who will take her on outings on a fortnightly basis on a Sunday. Shelley has many interests including sewing, going for walks in the park, visiting cafes and is very interested in technology.

Shelley is warm, kind and friendly.

Volunteering is a rewarding activity where you can connect with like-minded people, develop your skills and help to improve the quality of life for all involved. We are committed to ensuring that volunteers across our programs are encouraged, supported, trained and well informed for mutual benefit.
