Volunteers provide support to vulnerable community members accessing Emergency Relief by conducting face to face interviews with consumers who are presenting for assistance, and help facilitate access to material goods and vouchers, and referrals to other programs and agencies.

We are seeking a passionate community member to join our dedicated Board of Governance. The Kingston Neighbourhood House (KNH) Board provides governance support to the Manager and staff of KNH to enable efficient operations. THE KNH Board is a group of professionals based in the Kingborough community and commit 1-2 hours per month for Board meetings and 1-2 hours per month for work on sub-committees or projects as they arise.

Don't throw it, repair it! Repair Cafes are a global movement aimed at reducing waste, sharing skills and building community. The Eastside Repair Café launched recently on Hobart’s sunny eastern shore, and is held on the last Saturday of each month.
